Faceless Aliens at Wimbledon!

Several news organizations, including the Daily Mail, are reporting that “faceless” figures are popping up at Wimbledon and several posh parties around London. Blogger Nick Burcher noticed the logos they are wearing are for the car company Lotus, and was able to sleuth out that the whole thing is actually a viral marketing stunt.
He writes:
"Given how easy it is to find the facelesspeople.com website through Google I think it is amazing that there has been so much Faceless People coverage and so little realisation that the Faceless people are part of a clever viral marketing rather than a political statement or art!
22-foot tall robot crafted entirely from excess styrofoam.
"Building a big robot is nothing to congratulate yourself on, but doing it in this manner is certainly worthy of a little self-indulgence. The creature you see standing before you is a 22-foot tall Styrobot constructed entirely from spare polystyrene packing materials, and no, each piece didn't just show up that way. Romanian doctor fined for accidentally severing a man's penis
ok, i thought i would try and trip you out with the picture of the severed finger.
OOps, i accidentally cut your penis off, but we'll put some muscle there in order to make it look like you have a dick still. LOL !

"BUCHAREST, Romania - A court has ordered a Romanian surgeon to pay $795,000 in compensation to a patient whose penis he accidentally severed during an operation.
In July 2004, Dr. Naum Ciomu made a surgical error while operating on the man's testicles, severing the penis instead of making an incision to the testicle.
The Bucharest Magistrates Court ruled that Ciomu had been "superficial" in his approach to the operation, ordered the fine and handed Ciomu a one-year suspended prison sentence.
The ruling can be appealed.
A piece of muscle from the man's arm has now been attached to where his penis was, but its function is aesthetic.
The victim's lawyer said you don't have to be an expert to realize that the 33-year-old victim isn't in a good state of mind. "

Baby put up for sale on EBay back at home

BERLIN - German authorities have returned a baby to his parents after agreeing that their offer to sell him on EBay was just a joke gone awry.
Prosecutor Johannes Kreuzpointer confirmed Thursday that investigators have concluded that there was no attempt at child trafficking.
Neither the 23-year-old mother nor 24-year-old father have been identified.
In an EBay posting on May 24, they offered to sell their "nearly new" baby for one euro, the equivalent of about C$1.50, saying it had "gotten too loud."
No bids were received in the two hours and 30 minutes the ad was online before it was taken down.
