This is too cool, although if you are not an uber nerd you may not really care. The possibility to stream to any web enabled client is now possible.
Check out this software here: http://tversity.com/download/
Here's the best part, if you have a device that supports flash (ie - Firefox, IE or Safari) then you don't even need to install any software, just point your web browser to your server and done, you have access to all your content. If you are ghetto and don't have access to a flash browser, you can still play it via the local player on your machine.
Also, you are able to watch or listen to INTERNET streams.
The other thing that you can obviously do is open up the general port to everyone and be able to access your content via any computer on the planet. This is highly cool, but is not the safest thing to do. I wouldn't do that, pretty neat though.
There are other neat little things too, like being able to RSS content that you have downloaded say automatically using utorrent and getting notified on your RSS reader that you have on your email client.
The list goes on and on forever.
Think of all the possibities.
