German Porsche modder RUF Automobile GmbH went and dropped a 204hp electric motor into a 911. It's powered by 96 lithium ion batteries, can hit 60 in less than 7 seconds, tops out at 160 , and has a 180-mile range. All in all, not too shabby. Who'd have thunk it -- an electric Porsche!
